Mason

As a Mason, you join a community of givers who are making affordable housing part of their lasting legacy. By planning a future gift to The Gateway Collective, members of The Tributary help ensure that future generations will have a place to call home.

Becoming a Mason is one of the most powerful actions you can take to provide support for upward mobility. A legacy commitment is an investment in transparent, sustainable work that will directly impact some Northeast Wisconsin's most vulnerable populations and transform the future for generations to come.

Ways to give

A gift in your will

Whether you designate a specific amount or leave a percentage of your estate, your legacy gift will empower Gateway Collective's continued work.

Sample will language

Beneficiary designations

Your retirement plans, life insurance policies, and annuities can all help provide upward mobility for generations to come.

Non-cash assets

Donating certain non-cash assets like real estate can provide significant tax benefits while advancing our mission.

Qualified charitable distributions

If you are 70.5 or older, you can give up to $100,000 per year from your IRA. If you are subject to a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), an IRA gift can help you meet your RMD while lowering your taxable income

Bequest Policy

It is the general policy of The Gateway Collective that all gifts shall be presumed to be for all charitable purposes (i.e. unrestricted) unless there is an explicit restriction. This allows the organization to apply the funds to the most pressing needs at the time of funding. The Gateway Collective gift acceptance policy can be found here.
